Al Gore Sues
Sun's Owner Over Global Warming. "I'm gonna be
sure Angeles Duran is held responsible," says former US VP.
( ROME, GA.USA.) Hours after
learning of Angeles Duran's claim of ownership of the Sun, former Vice
President, Al Gore has filed a law suit in U.S. Federal court against
the woman for damages caused by global warming.
"I'm seriously considering including Spain in our suit", Gore told
I.N.N. reporters.
"Duran will be collecting ginormous fees from users of solar energy;
she says she'll be giving half the money to the Spanish government. She
can't hide the money that easily."
"It really burns my ass that she believes she can
profit from this," Gore said.
Holding a copy of Gore's
lengthy lawsuit (photo at right) Angeles Duran seemed undisturbed over
the former United States Vice President's attack.
"Oh, my goodness," Duran told I.N.N., "Al is being so silly. For years
he claimed that Global Warming is man-made, now he wants to blame my
dear little Sol. He can't have it both ways, you know".
Following Gore's announcement, Duran and the Sun held their
own press conference near Costa Del Sol, Spain. When asked to comment
further on Gore's law suit against her, Duran told I.N.N. reporters,
"I've discussed this with my lawyers and all I can say is that Mr. Gore
can take his law suit and stick it where the sun don't shine".
